I barely scratched the surface, but I'm expecting at least five different fumos.
Loving the presentation and soundtrack. A well-deserved daily featured. Just lovely.
P.S. If that one blurb was serious, I hope you're doing alright.

So many fumos >:3
Pretty great homage. I'm very much a fan of the bigger map and multiple endings. It manages to both be faithful to its source material and allow itself to be original with the added content.
That being said, there are a couple technical issues though. During my first playthrough, my inventory overfilled and not only did I lose the match I picked up, the next item I clicked on disappeared when I tried to use it. The other time, I grabbed the cookie from the vending machine t̶o̶o̶ e̶a̶r̶l̶y and randomly got stuck in the dispenser screen with no back arrow. And when I tried the alternate ending with Richy, I could not seem to interact with any of the changed environment. Clicking on Richy for some reason teleported me to the electric outlet in Mrs. Sleep's room and after returning to the gym, everything was restored back to before, except I was still missing the items I used before.
Edit: So just for future reference, yes, the library minigame has to be completed to get the main ending. Best method I found is having the cursor in the center of the screen. The speed and direction is random and it might take a few tries, but the targets always cross around the middle area. Hope that helps.
Thanks you for your review. I was able to fix some of the glitches, the others I wasn't able to replicate so I might be a ruffle emulation problem.
Missed opportunity to name it pisseria, but i guess you had to keep up the existent naming scheme. Very relatable stuff.
Fuck… I’m stupid…
After OpenTBD, this one actually felt pretty short. Makes me want to reread some novels now though rather than pick at my existing backlog. Once again pretty sweet OST.
The Spanish section has two broken questions for the words tiger and seed. The questions look incomplete in the first one ("typically orange and black" and "the Spanish word for seed") and the answers either don't appear or just say "loading" on all four.
Sorry about that! The trivia pack should now be fixed (there was a misplaced comma that made things weird...)
Gotta say, this might be my favorite of your games so far. I had a feeling there was some UFO 50 inspiration. Not sure if it's bugged, but the constant flickering and beeping of the scoreboard even after you get off the button gets annoying quick.
Gameplay, for being literally just jumping in one spot, is surprisingly addicting. Once the third upgrade sorts out the jankiness at the start, it really walks a fine line between "you do just need to balance it" and "yeah, you're going this direction now lmao". Only made getting to 99 all the more satisfying.
Once I saw the shop descriptions I already got a good idea what the ending would look like. Is time a recurring theme in these (well, three) games or is that all just coincidence?
Thanks, I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the game :)
and the flickering is intentional, but I might add a toggle if it’s too annoying
You do not control the flow of the button, the button controls the flow of you
The recurring theme is just a coincidence, I just have fun making a games in weird ways, literally programmed most of this one during my breaks at work
Edit: also I fucking love UFO 50, that game is amazing
Well dang, this goes unexpectedly hard.
Tons of fun and easy to get into. It's got memorable style, incredibly smooth animation, awesome soundtrack, and just a perfect blend of shitpost humor. And you can't forget the fact that it's a game about kicking people in the gonads. God I love newgrounds.
Ran into a couple minor bugs. I randomly got a copy of the first boss drop after dying for the first time. And I somehow got Baa stuck upsidedown after performing a special attack. This was even before I toggled the option, but it did return the character to normal after disabling it.
Really can't think of any improvements, though I'd love to see more taunts and items. But as is, it's definitely very full fledged for being a short game.
Thank you very much for the long feedback! I will look into these bugs and try to fix them as soon as possible. Glad you had a fun time with the game!
Nice, simple and seasonal. Only problem I noticed is that since the sprite mirrors between left and right, you can't aim directly down, which makes it easier for the flying robots to reach you.
Solid demo. Strongest points are the visuals (I'm a sucker for handdrawn stuff) and soundtrack. Kinda feels like Hollow Knight meets Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. I liked the boss battles and tool selection, but combat with regular enemies felt a little lackluster. I'd definitely like to see more sidequests. Right now it looks like I can't unlock new achievements after I finished a level though.
Thanks so much for the kind words! It took way too long to wrestle with newgrounds' medal system and for some reason it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, and I have no idea how to fix it; sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for playing and I'll do some work on more interesting enemies!
Culturally enriching. I'm still surprised that I was able to make any sense out the dialogue. It was like reading wuthering heights all over again. Merry christmas! (or whatever it's spelled in yorkshire)
Nice simpsons reference btw
Mazza Claus has officially been compared to classic literature lol
Good first entry. For being a basic quickdraw with simple graphics, it's charming and surprisingly engaging. I could be wrong but it seems that in hardcore mode, clicks sometimes don't register if you aren't clicking on the player character, at least that was my experience starting with level 3 (I read the description and it has probably something to do with firefox).
Thanks for the feedback! Ill look into it with ultra-hard and see if theres any issues with it. Its sad that FireFox is dodgy, especially since Im a diehard FF user, but when I retested things on chrome and it was a lot smoother.
Probably figuring things out
