Inverted The Lovers, The Sun, and Inverted The Devil.

Don't know a single thing about tarots but taking the descriptions at face value, that seems about right. Timely too weirdly enough. At least the cards look real pretty, right?

Edit: Mostly felt personally topical, i.e. I met with an ex earlier last week, it's sort of an anniversary for kicking addiction for me and I need to replan my future again. So overall life I guess? Idk if I'm reading into it all that much, but I'll try anything once lol

itsreddqueen responds:

I've taken a look at the reading, If you could please divulge more into your situation in the comment edit then i'll give you a personal interpretaion. Just need to know wether it's about life, love, or a choice you're on the fence about.

Edit: damn that is pretty accurate. With the Lovers in an inverted position representing meeting an ex again to celebrate a wonderful milestone (Upright Sun). As for the inverted devil card, I’m proud of you for taking matters into your own hands and shaping your future, at times you may feel powerless and unable to get your desired outcome but I say soldier on and trust the process, but make sure you take really good care of yourself, it may be tempting every now and then to get back into old habits but if you stay strong and seek alternatives, you’ll be much better off.

On top of being rulers of everything, mechanical hands also rule newgrounds. Happy clock day!

(Just now realizing that you didn't need to be a ng supporter to enter the collab. Oh well.)

Edit: Alright, shameless self-plug but I got into the spirit and made a clock thingy. Maybe I'll be on next year. Keep clocking.

("Ruler of Everything" is a banger song, BTW.)

Won't blame you for not realising that - I only stumbled across that fact by checking Rena's userpage and finding a newspost about COTBBS.

Just like Glorious Time, strangely addicting. Despite having no instructions, it all ends up falling into place once you get enough automation going. Good stuff. (also nice deltarune reference)

My addiction to antimatter dimensions has paid off :,)

Challenging, but awesome in every way imaginable. Gameplay, art, soundtrack, simply great. The only problems I ran into is that sometimes during the death screen, the game starts freezing up and then you can't select anything on the menu afterwards as well the track medals not unlocking. Would love to see this game being expanded on with more enemies and tracks, different weapons and areas to choose from, but by itself, it's already pretty much perfect.

DaShahRach00 responds:

To be honest this is what I imagined at first!! Several zones, several bosses, several weapons, upgrades, a little story, maybe we will do that one day, it was at the beginning of the design that me and the programmer said to ourselves that it would be too much work for a second game, so we decided to make it an endless runner.
I'm very glad you liked it ^^
We will check all the problems you mentioned and try to resolve them.
EDIT : Freeze problem fixed ! And medals problems fixed !! :D

This collab really managed to capture the silliness of especially the late 2000s era of newgrounds animation. I hope everyone involved had a field day with making these bits. Kinda sad to see this as a send-off to a small yet memorable miniseries, but who knows? Maybe you'll again feel like making a fourth installment in 10-15 years and everyone can experience the magic of the past once more. Might be getting a little sentimental there, but it's fun to imagine, right?

(also RIP bank scene, whatever you were)

DMpls responds:

appreciate the sentiment! It was a while ago that this collab happened, but working on my scene was a ton of fun for sure!

wllppr

But seriously, very nice designs everyone contributed, real newgroundscore (I'm sure that's already a thing and if it's not make it one)

SullyGuille responds:

Yeah, let's make Newgroundscore a thing!

I really like this game for its unexpected ominousness. It's interesting enough to keep you wanting to figure out how it works, but not in a frustrating and arbitrary "where the fuck do I go" kind of way. Pretty sure I ran into a bug though, since I ended up opening the door after some time, but now it's stuck at the text "is it done". It also keeps making the door squeaking sound when I scroll away from the screen (as in down to the comments)

Edit: I don't know how the divergence happens, but I'm pretty sure I got all three endings now. I got the complete wait ending twice, but I didn't get either medals for getting it or doing it without drinking. The first time one of the scripted shadows disrupted the ending scene, but I don't know why it didn't trigger the second time. Still, solid game overall.

Edit edit: All right, the complete wait ending triggered the third time now! I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for that secret you mentioned. Looking forwards to your other stuff!

TheGorondorf responds:

Thanks for the kind words! I'll try to fix those bugs you said (some of them I swear I don't even know how can they trigger when I made specific things like that to not happen in the first place, but that's video games for you lol).

I think I should correct myself and say that one of the "endings" is not part of the final moments of the game. Wink wink

Not bad. Like Magnus commented, some technical issues so you need to wait or revisit a category to load a question. I think I also ran into a problem with the medals, since the 5 answer one didn't unlock for me either. I was logged in and made a screenshot of the score to be safe. Maybe an api issue?

Edit: Checked it again and it works now! Thanks!

TeamTrivial responds:

Sorry about those issues!

With a just pushed update you should be able to load up the main screen of the game and unlock medals after 2-3 seconds. If not, please check the stats page and see what's shown there.

Will be checking into other issues as well.

Now here's something I wasn't expecting.

It's a pleasant surprise to see that you're remaking these. I played the original (ok like one of the mini episodes) back in 2015. The art, the writing, plus the weeb shit, made those games instant classics and timeless even now, a whole-ass decade later. Looking forwards to the next parts and full steam release, Jack!

JackAstral responds:

Thanks so much! Lots more weeb shit in the next episodes, LOL

Great work from all the contributors as always. It really has been 15 years, hasn't it? I wasn't really around for the very beginning (I mean, who was?) but it was probably one of the first internet cultures I got genuinely invested in and saw through until the very end from elementary to like 6th grade, yet I keep forgetting about homestuck existing somehow. Surprised that there's still that much of an active fanbase. I'll take this as an excuse to reread it all over again since it ended.

(I think I've come to the sobering realization that things will never stop from keep happening constantly)

Edit: I just skimmed over the tvtropes page for HS2. Boy do I have lot of catching up to do.

Latadenata responds:

YESS!! GO REREAD IT!!! You might even have time to catch up with the new homestuck^2 updates with the new team!

Probably figuring things out
