I absolutely love the art style and fluid animation in this. Gameplay has a very strong prince of persia/castlevania feel to it. I played the demo on itchio before and had no idea you put it on newgrounds. I'm looking forwards to the steam release!

So, after nearly 2 hours, I did what I couldn't in the last decade and finished Xtreme Mode and Just Ridiculous. The soundtrack kept me on the brink of sanity for both latter halves.

I want to say I'm glad I got it over with, but the game still manages to be fun platformer in spite of all the frustrating moments it gives you. I guess you can't not enjoy wholesome zombie love and endless amounts of death for all else involved. Only criticism I can think of is that cheats don't get saved if you refresh the page.

Missed out on checking the original before, but gotta say, this might be one of the most creative collab entry presentations yet. This is going to keep me occupied for a good while for sure. Happy hunting I guess

Good luck!

I came, I shat, I conquered.

I was wondering whether this would get a newgrounds release after playing the early build on itch.io. The party definitely looks a lot less dead now. I spent way too long on the password because I thought it was hidden in "Octocber" for some reason. The ending made it all worth it though.

Oh jeez that was an actual typo, that’s embarrassing… hope someone got fired for that blunder

i noticed it but never told anyone... i'm like honer simpsons at the power plant

Hotline Miami x Madness Combat. A match made in heaven really.
Honestly, I always wondered whether the sierra nevada demo would ever get picked up again so man am I glad it's back and fleshed out now. Besides fixing up the jankiness of the first version, you really managed to get the two franchises to come to together with this. It came out great.

On an unrelated note, there really needs to be more stuff with HM inspired gameplay (totally not biased)

Very engaging and novel take on bullet hell. Plus who can say no to anything that has goblins in it?

Very cute! Really captures that nostalgic earthbound/overworld pokemon feel.

Entertaining rhythm game with genuinely good tracks. And just like the UK version, it managed to be more thought provoking and coherent than the real thing.

The monkey begins in a filthy apartment in the ghetto eating doritos, he ends the story in a filthy apartment in the ghetto eating doritos, but with a chimp friend. Now that's character development.

Seriously though, instant classic. Unlocking minigames was a nice touch as well.

chimpcollective responds:

Correction, he ends the story in a filthy apartment in the ghetto eating doritos, but with a girlfriend, thousands of dollars and new video game system :)

In all seriousness thank you for the review!

Great work on the collab everyone, hope you kept your wrist straps on making it.

It's nice to see wii games getting some attention. Only thing missing was something based on the safety manual illustrations :p

You were supposed to wear those?

Probably figuring things out
