[Homestuck FreshJamz Collab]

Great work from all the contributors as always. It really has been 15 years, hasn't it? I wasn't really around for the very beginning (I mean, who was?) but it was probably one of the first internet cultures I got genuinely invested in and saw through until the very end from elementary to like 6th grade, yet I keep forgetting about homestuck existing somehow. Surprised that there's still that much of an active fanbase. I'll take this as an excuse to reread it all over again since it ended.

(I think I've come to the sobering realization that things will never stop from keep happening constantly)

Edit: I just skimmed over the tvtropes page for HS2. Boy do I have lot of catching up to do.

For as short as it was, this was a pretty neat game. Felt a lot like The Consuming Shadow stylistically, maybe also some inspiration from Life Eater? I thought there would be a bit more interaction with the other patients, but I still really enjoyed it overall.

I haven't heard of Life Eater, but The Consuming Shadow is definitely the number one inspiration. I talked a bit about it in the Author Notes button on the main menu.

[Indefinite: Interrogation Game]

Our subject is Ju Li, a 25 year old computer hardware engineer born in China. She follows Islam, an approved religious belief. During The Incident, Ju Li was in China working when she saw a one-eyed man. She claims she is closest to her grandfather.

We learned a lot about Clara Li, Ju's sister and member of radical Buddhist group 'Four Truths': she is 50, is a computer hardware engineer, is in China, never revealed why she converted to Buddhism, ran away from home Before The Incident, and is in a relationship with Alexander Patel - which we can use to get to her. A team has been sent to pick Alexander up for interrogation.

Ju Li admitted to killing a single person, and says she remembers everything that day. Ju Li claims she lost 1 family member during The Incident.

Based on our interrogation, we determined that Ju Li was recruited by her sister Clara into Buddhist terrorist group 'Four Truths' but became possessed by telepathic aliens and had her memory wiped before being usedfor more sinister purposes in The Incident.

Punishment: Indefinite detention.

[Dream Medicine]

Neat little game. Strongest points were definitely the art and music. The gameplay was a bit arbitrary at times, where some combos will have differing effects on the same prompts. I liked the random encounters and not just for the extra points (economy must be in a bad state when you get stick ups in the dream space). The game evidently came from the heart and was less about making a message than it was about expressing some general thoughts and really, that's fine.

So yes, I did think it was nifty.

[Tales From The Arcade: Fartmania]

Great game. Played it so long newgrounds timed out on me (rip no damage run), but outside my personal failings? Cute art, engaging gameplay, riveting storyline, farting pigs, what more could you ask for? Already took a look at your other projects and honestly, I hope to see more of the same from you guys!

(also 2# yay, I'll never get over getting ranked above Tom Fulp in anything lol)

Very nice. Collabs like these were always my favorite thing about newgrounds as a community. Already looking forwards to the next one.

[The DEGENING]

Simple gameplay. Not all that much strategy required since you basically just put all vouchers in power to curbstomp your enemies. Overall, it's still pretty fun for its short length. If it wasn't for the virtual sin forgiveness guy I could totally believe that this was made in 2016.

So this one of those "murder simulators" newgrounds is famous for?

Seriously though, this game's fun. Simple yet very entertaining. Feels like a more cutesy pixel version of the original Postal. I love it.

And like it's already been said below, it could totally expanded on with more levels/maps, in-game challenges, maybe even extra player characters with different gamestyles. But as is, it's already a great game, especially for having been made in three days. Amazing job.

I think thats the plan, we're taking a brake form it for a bit but we had a ton of fun designing the level and gameplay. Definitely coming back to it and adding features, considering it was for a 72 hour game jam and wed never done something like that before, Im really happy with where we ended up!

[Windowz XP 2012 Professional]

Nice archive. Really encapsulates the essence of the early 2010s with all the randomness, edgy shitposting and half-assed parodies, all with genuine passion behind them. Really makes you nostalgic for that time, even if you weren't there to fully experience it. Kinda sad to find that I couldn't find anything on SoupSquad.com except for a domain on sale and a defunct forum. I guess you'll always have the memories, right?

Edit: Just got all the new medals. Christ, I will never look at microsoft agents the same way again.
